Is a twenty two-year veteran of the high-tech industry and BroadRamp Inc’s President and Chief Executive Officer, and serves as the Chief Executive Offer for BroadRamp Canada. Prior to joining BroadRamp, Nakagawa was President and Chief Operating Officer of online comparison shopping leader PriceWatch Corporation, championing several initiatives to move this transaction oriented business into a content-oriented aggregator. Nakagawa has also held many senior executive positions within major Fortune 500 corporations, most recently as President and General Manager of Sharp Electronic Corporation's US computing and displays business. Prior to Sharp, Nakagawa held several General Management positions in Dell's Product Group organizations, leading the multi-billion dollar Inspiron Line of Business, and founding and leading the beyond-the-box Internet Line of Business, which drove Dell's digital content and internet access initiatives.
Additionally, Nakagawa led the New Product Concepts organization in Dell's research division, Dell Labs, and was also responsible for all consumer products strategic planning. In his capacities at Sharp and Dell, Nakagawa led digital content initiatives for both companies, forging a strong foundation for his current responsibilities as President and CEO of BroadRamp. Before Dell, Nakagawa was responsible for North America strategic marketing and marketing communications for US Commercial Marketing at Acer-Texas Instruments, and has also held various sales and marketing management positions at IBM. Nakagawa is an honors graduate from the University of California at Berkeley with a BS in Mechanical Engineering, and has attended executive education programs at Harvard Business School, MIT Sloan, and IMD.
Is the Chief Technology Officer and acting VP of Marketing of BroadRamp Inc. and serves as the Chief Technology Officer for BroadRamp Canada. He holds a Bachelor of Arts in Architectural Design with a major in Digital Media and Computer Design, and numerous professional certifications in computer and information technology including Software Engineering and System Design Certifications. Darwish has more than fifteen years of experience in the management of computer technology design and development and has served as an independent technology consultant for several renowned worldwide corporations including IBM, Datapoint Corporation, Randolph AFB, Jana Corporation, Pyramid Management Group and Tesoro Savings. Darwish served as executive vice president of Internet Technology and Communication sales and marketing at Total Access Communications where he developed several Internet applications for the delivery of nationwide high-speed Internet access.
Darwish received his pilot training and Air force qualifications while stationed in Israel and in the US. His experience in computer design, coupled with his career as an aviator played a great role in his application design. Some of his designs were used in enhancing cockpit and avionics designs in several fighter jets and high-performance aircraft. Darwish is the designer and founder of several technologies now under development by BroadRamp Inc. Some of these designs are being considered by companies such as Intel and Macromedia for full certification and nationwide sponsorship.
Is the President and General Manger of BroadRamp Canada. Prior to founding BroadRamp Canada in Nov of 2007, Marc was the Co-Founder (2002) and CEO of RAMP Management Group Inc., an International sport and entertainment management company with a client list that includes NHL, NBA, NFL, Footballers, Action Sport, and Olympic Athletes from four different continents. Marc was also the architect of RAMP Interactive, an On-line sport administration organization with over 100,000 users and 80 sport related web properties under development and being maintained. A former athlete, Marc brings his “passion for the game to the business of the game”.
Marc’s previous positions included Account Executive at Document Systems (Xerox Canada) where he led the agency in sales of a new digital platform. He then moved to Telus Communications as Client Relationship Manager growing his portfolio by 40% in the first year. After three internal promotions, Marc left for an opportunity with GT Group Telecom as Senior Business Manager. Marc was recipient of the 2000 President’s Club Award for his contribution to building the Edmonton office and was promoted to Director of Business Development, Western Region. In 2002 he also held the post of Interim Executive Vice President of The Hockey Players Corp. - a player owned and NHLPA agent controlled Media Company.
Is the Chief Financial Officer and Chief Operating Officer for BroadRamp Canada, he holds a Masters of Business Administration with emphasis in Finance, and has over twelve years of administrative and management experience. His career spans Canada and the US in a variety of industries working in strategic and financial planning, management, and credit analysis for companies in manufacturing, construction, sport, and most recently technology.
Brendan’s previous positions include Credit Analyst for 5/3rd Bank – a large US regional bank where he was involved in evaluating, analyzing and providing recommendations for bank exposure. In 2006, he returned to Canada and worked for PCL Construction as a Project Accountant involved with the accounting and contract management of various projects. Most recently Brendan was CFO and COO of Ramp Interactive, and was instrumental in securing and structuring the License Agreement for BroadRamp Canada.
